i've always been resistant to blogs and my writing in general
i always thought, "who gives a shit?"i still feel that way a little. i was always taught to show not tell. i've been feeling better. remembered why i enjoy doing these things. in a way i lost sight. i used to feel so pressured to promote and sell. which to my credit, i did a good job at. what i forgot was that ultimately i make all these things because I feel good doing it. more grounded when i'm otherwise floating around. that's when i'm the best me i think. i made a sketch pad for my friend cait. i wish you could feel it.
it's been a month
since i've moved to bostoni can now call this "home base." i feel incredibly lucky to be here though i know i worked for it. maybe it's a year later than i thought but it feels right. the year spent at home is what i needed. i miss my friends dearly and i can't thank them enough for giving me the support and inspiration to keep going. i never lost my magic, it's just stronger now. i'm beginning to sink my claws into Boston and can't wait to show you what i tear off. stay tuned <3
